  Bottles of Hope

Bottles of Hope are small glass bottles decorated with polymer clay. The idea was the brainchild of Diane Gregoire, a cancer survivor and polymer clay artist who found a way to use her art to cheer up the lives of cancer patients going through the ordeal of chemotherapy.
The Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild has a page of helpful information for anyone wishing to make and distribute Bottles of Hope. Obtaining glass medication bottles to recycle as Bottles of Hope is getting more difficult as non-toxic materials are increasingly frequently delivered in plastic vials, but insulin bottles are a convenient size, and inexpensive bottles may be purchased from E.D. Luce and American Science and Surplus.
